Ways You Can Help
Gifts of Cash
Cash gifts can provide immediate help for existing programs, services, equipment and patient care. One-time gifts can be made or pledges given over a period of time. To contribute, call the Foundation at (559) 450-2040.
Join The Men's Club
The Saint Agnes Men's Club is a dynamic group of philanthropic men, whose fund-raising activities benefit the Medical Center and its special programs. Fundraising events include Weber BMW Golf Championships, Summer Sizzle, Fresno Cross City Race and distributing gift packages to needy families during the holidays. Last year, Men's Club members generated more than $290,000 for patient and community outreach programs at Saint Agnes. Join the Saint Agnes Associates
The Saint Agnes Associates is another organization committed to raising money for Saint Agnes programs. The primary recipient of its fundraising efforts is Holy Cross Center for Women. The Center is sponsored by Saint Agnes Medical Center and provides a safe haven for underserved and homeless women and children in downtown Fresno. Since it began in 1984, the Associates fall Fashion and Entertainment Event has raised more than $1 million for Holy Cross Center. Last year, the annual diaper drive collected more than 68,000 diapers. Saint Agnes Associates is a diverse group of philanthropic women who encourage new members to join in the fun. Memorials and Tributes
There are many reasons for giving gifts - birthdays, anniversaries, celebrating the renewed health of a friend or honoring the memory of a loved one. Your donation not only pays a lasting tribute, it allows Saint Agnes Medical Center to continue providing the highest quality, most cost-effective health care available.
Gifts In-Kind
Contributions of products or services (such as used clothing or household items, computers, books, toys, the catering of a fund-raising event, or the printing of a brochure) are important ways Saint Agnes can lower costs. All donors receive recognition equal to the dollar value of the in-kind gift.
Gifts of Real Estate/Other Assets
Real estate, appreciated securities, works of art, or other assets can be sold or invested for the long-term benefit of Saint Agnes Medical Center. Donating your home, while retaining lifetime residency, is also an option.
Planned Gifts
Special tax incentives are available for people who make carefully considered deferred gifts through estate plans. This can be done simply through a bequest, or by establishing various kinds of trusts made available to encourage philanthropy. Life insurance plans can also benefit Saint Agnes Medical Center. Your gift may be a specific bequest of a designated sum or asset, or it may be a percentage of your residuary estate. The gift can be used to establish an endowment or fund a specific program in perpetuity. |
The Donor Wall The Donor Wall includes both pledged and received dollars. Once gifts reach the $10,000 level, your name is placed on the wall in the main lobby of the hospital.
