Visitor Policies


General Visiting guidelines are as follows:

  • All visitors must complete screening process prior to visiting.
    • Visitors will NOT be allowed in the hospital if they have flu-like symptoms.
  • Visitation is allowed during general visiting hours as appropriate in patient care units.
  • Visitation may be restricted in double occupancy rooms.
  • All children must be accompanied by an adult and visits should be limited to short periods.
    • No children are allowed in isolation rooms.

Proof of a negative COVID-19 test, or a vaccination record are no longer required. Visitors will NOT be allowed in the hospital if they have symptoms.

General Visiting hours: 7:30 a.m.- 10 p.m., daily

Maternity Visiting


  • Siblings of the baby are welcome any time during general visiting hours.
    • All siblings must be screened for communicable disease with the Good Health badge and must be accompanied by an adult and visits should be limited to short periods.

Emergency Room and OBED


  • One visitor per patient is permitted in the Emergency Room, conditional to capacity restrictions.
  • Two visitors per patient are permitted in the OBED.

Entrances


All patients are being directed to two points of entry to the Medical Center – Hospital Entrance/Patient Registration (1-North) and 2-North Circle Drive unless instructed otherwise. Signage has been posted at the locked entrances. Patients and visitors will be screened upon entry.

Flu Season Policy


Saint Agnes takes extra precautions to protect our patients, visitors and staff from exposure to respiratory and flu illness. This includes implementation of our Flu Season Visitor Policy, when appropriate, as outlined below:

  • Visitors are limited.
  • No children under the age of 10 permitted
  • Anyone with cold or flu symptoms may not visit patients.

Nonsmoking Policy


Saint Agnes Medical Center is a tobacco-free organization. Smoking or tobacco use of any kind – including electronic cigarettes – is strictly prohibited inside, outside or anywhere around our facility (i.e. walkways surrounding the campus grounds). Patients who have smoking material or tobacco products in their possession upon admission will be asked to send them home with a loved one. If this is not feasible, our staff will gladly safeguard these items until discharge.
