High-quality imaging, clear results
The Saint Agnes Breast Center recently received accreditation by the American College of Radiology™ (ACR) for three breast care services:
- Breast ultrasound
- Mammography
- Stereotactic breast biopsy
Each accreditation is valid for three years and represents the highest level of image quality and patient safety. These accreditations are only awarded to facilities that meet specific requirements based on ACR Practice Parameters and Technical Standards after a peer-review evaluation by board-certified physicians and medical physicists who are experts in the field.
Services offered
The Saint Agnes Breast Center offers the most advanced technology for physical healing, combined with a soothing environment to help our patients' spiritual and emotional needs. Through the Saint Agnes Breast Center, patients have access to the following services:
- Bone density
- Breast ultrasound
- Breast ultrasound biopsy
- Core biopsy
- Cyst aspiration
- Digital mammography
- Fine-needle aspiration
- Galactogram (or, ductogram)
- Needle localization
- Vacuum-assisted stereotactic core biopsy
In addition to the above services, we offer minimally-invasive stereotactic and ultrasound biopsy services which provide a precise diagnosis for breast problems, often without the need for surgery. Additionally, the Saint Agnes Breast Center can conveniently schedule a bone density study along with a mammogram, per a patient's request.
