It is my humble privilege to write to you this holiday season as the newly appointed Chief Development Officer at Saint Agnes. As I reflect on my tenure of service, I am overwhelmed by the generosity and support this community has provided our faith-based mission for the last 94 years.
The last few years have been filled with challenges unlike any we've experienced in our storied history. As our frontline care teams continue to adapt to our new landscape, it has become apparent that changes must be made to our care delivery models, and even to the Medical Center itself, in order to keep up with the growing health needs of our community.
At the forefront of our improvement plans is the construction of a new state-of-the-art Emergency Department. Placed at the hospital's front door, the new facility will leverage the latest technology and an improved patient flow plan to increase the Central Valley's access to high-quality emergency care.
