Saint Agnes is one of 134 hospitals being recognized by California Maternal Quality Care Collaborative (CMQCC) for high-quality maternal care.

This year, Saint Agnes was honored to receive the Quality & Sustainability Award for Timely Treatment for Severe Hypertension Rate and the Superstar Award for Large Birth Volume Hospitals.

The Quality & Sustainability Award is given to hospitals that met and maintained a Timely Treatment for Severe Hypertension (HTN) rate of 80% and above for Calendar Years 2019 through 2021. This target rate is a CMQCC sustainability recommendation.

The Superstar Award is given to hospitals with more than 2500 births that accrued MDC utilization points over a defined level. For large hospitals, superstar status is defined as hospital personnel accessing the MDC for at least 1000 points across 4 MDC utilization categories (Overall Login Counts, Supplemental Data Completeness, Hospital Report Views and Provider Report Views) during the prior calendar year.
