Giving Opportunities

As a nonprofit hospital, Saint Agnes is dedicated to reinvesting its gains to ensure that you and your loved ones have access to the most advanced technology and the highest level of care available. Our success in meeting the Valley's ever-growing healthcare needs, however, can only be achieved with your help – through gifts of time and money.
Saint Agnes Emergency Department is the number two busiest hospital in the state of California for Emergency Medical Service (EMS) volume. Our emergency services continue to evolve to meet the growing emergency care needs of our Valley. We are working to build a new emergency department on our campus and can only get there togethER.
Your support will help us provide the latest technology and equipment for those who come to Saint Agnes in need of emergency care.
With ongoing advancements in health care technology, it's vital for us to stay equipped with the latest tools and resources to ensure the best possible outcomes for every patient we serve. Your donation will directly impact our ability to purchase this critical equipment and uphold our commitment to quality care in our community.
Your support helps our hospital acquire essential new medical and surgical equipement that will greatly enhance the care we provide to our patients.
For decades, Saint Agnes has lead the region in providing the highest level of heart and vascular care. With a skilled team and state-of-the-art technology, our patients can be confident they are receiving the most sophisticated care − whether diagnostic, therapeutic or surgical. And, if a cardiac emergency strikes, no other area hospital responds faster than Saint Agnes − one of only three California hospitals named a Mentor Hospital for consistently exceeding national heart attack treatment standards.
Your support helps purchase the latest technology and equipment so Saint Agnes can remain the leading hospital for cardiac and vascular care in the Valley. Funds also support important cardiac programs such as our Cardiac Rehabilitation & Lifestyle Program, the first and only in the region.
Saint Agnes is dedicated to treating families with the utmost compassion and providing the highest level of quality and safety for both mother and baby. Partnering with the Valley's first and only Children's Hospital – Valley Children's – we've created a highly-specialized collaboration featuring a 5-star maternity care center with more than 40 pediatric subspecialties. Our unique offering brings the best of fetal, neonatal, pediatric and adult medicine together, marrying advanced technologies with the most inclusive team of board certified experts in the Valley. From our Maternal Fetal Center, to various specialty clinics, Saint Agnes' birthing center and Children's satellite Level II and III neonatal intensive care units, our program is the only one of its kind in the region providing comprehensive services for mother and baby before, during and after delivery.
Your support helps fund advanced technology and equipment essential for this highly specialized service line. Most recently, the funds raised helped us to renovate all our birthing rooms from joint to private.
Spiritual Care provides the spiritual, emotional, and religious needs of our patients, families and colleagues. As part of our commitment to caring for the whole person – body, mind and spirit – the Medical Center has five fulltime chaplains and over 80 spiritual care volunteers of various denominations ready to offer support and counsel as needed. In addition, our Christ the Healer Chapel, offering prayer and meditation, is open 24 hours a day. Our Spiritual Care team also sponsors other popular hospital programs such as our Heavenly Hounds Pet Therapy Program, proven to aid in the healing process by comforting patients and lowering stress, pain, blood pressure and loneliness. Bears and Blankets is another program that provides comforting items to identified patients in need.
Your financial gift provides pastoral support to our Chaplaincy Program and other Spiritual Care programs such as Heavenly Hounds and Bears and Blankets, which depend solely on donations to operate.
In response to shifting needs in Downtown Fresno, Saint Agnes made the decision to transform the Holy Cross Center for Women into the Holy Cross Health and Wellness Center. The reimagined center expands necessary services at the downtown facility to better assist clients who are at risk of or are experiencing homelessness, substance use disorder and behavioral health episodes.
Your support helps our team provide services, programs and care for our most vulnerable population in the Valley. Learn more about the Holy Cross Health & Wellness Center, here.
This fund was established to support continuing education for medical, nursing and professional colleagues. Professional development is an essential component in maintaining highly trained staff to provide our community with the best possible care. Donations to this fund support nursing scholarships, medical education support, and conference travel.
Your support of the Education Fund helps to provide continuing education for all nursing departments and specialized training and educational opportunities for medical specialties.
In partnership with the Fresno County Department of Public Health (FCPDH), Saint Agnes is proud to provide health services to communities in need through the Rural Mobile Health program. Our Community Health Workers (CHWs) work in partnership with our Graduate Medical Education (GME) residents to provide education about various health-related topics and help individuals connect with nearby primary care providers and social resources. Our GME residents are available to also provide on-site services like immunizations, screenings, vaccines and more.
Your support allows our Mobile Health Unit to continue traveling throughout the Valley to provide services to those with otherwise limited access to health care. Get more information about our Mobile Health Unit, here.
This fund provides the Foundation with the most flexible means of support enabling Hospital Leadership to respond quickly to unanticipated needs and/or unbudgeted expenses. In 2021, donations to the "Where the Need is Greatest" Fund helped the Medical Center with equipment and technology purchases as well as refurbishment projects.
