Holy Cross Health and Wellness Center

In 2022, Saint Agnes Medical Center partnered with WestCare California to create the Holy Cross Health and Wellness Center. This partnership expands services at the downtown facility to better assist clients who are at risk or experiencing homelessness, substance use disorder, and behavioral health episodes. New services at Holy Cross include rapid rehousing services, education programs to promote self-sufficiency and family cohesion, diversion services to prevent homelessness, short-term case management to formerly incarcerated individuals, and outpatient treatment for substance use and behavioral health. Saint Agnes continued to offer resources to sheltered and unsheltered women and their families by providing clothing, diapers, feminine hygiene kits, shower and laundry services at the Holy Cross facility. In 2022, the Center had 8,301 encounters with 2,627 women and their children.
