Saint Agnes is transitioning ownership and management of its Main Campus Urgent Care location, located on the Medical Center’s campus, to Camarena Health, effective July 1, 2024.
Camarena Health is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) serving Fresno and Madera counties operating more than 20 community health center locations, including 4 urgent care centers in Madera County. This transition underscores our commitment to providing exceptional health care services tailored to meet the needs of our community. As an FQHC, Camarena Health is dedicated to delivering high-quality care that prioritizes patient well-being, ensuring everyone receives the best possible healthcare experience.
“At Saint Agnes, our goal is to best service our community with the options that can be viable for the long-run,” says Gurvinder Kaur, MD, MHA, Saint Agnes President and Market Leader. “We will continue to operate our other two urgent care centers and are thankful for the partnership with Camarena Health in improving access to care.”
“We are thrilled to provide accessible urgent care services in Fresno through our continued partnership with Saint Agnes Medical Center,” said Paulo Soares, CEO of Camarena Health. “This transition further enhances our commitment to delivering quality care and making a meaningful impact on the health and wellness of more individuals in our community.”
The Urgent Care will be temporarily closed Monday, July 1 through Wednesday, July 10 and will reopen as Camarena Health Urgent Care starting Thursday, July 11. The new operating hours will be Thursdays through Mondays, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. The clinic will be closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Camarena plans to transition to daily access with extended hours in the coming months.
Saint Agnes Care will continue to own and operate its two other urgent care locations, including Northwest Urgent Care in Fresno and Magnolia Urgent Care in Clovis. Camarena Health has been a strong partner to Saint Agnes and currently operates four Urgent Care locations in Madera County. We look forward to our continued partnership in increasing access to care in the Valley.
