Laboratory Services

When you need to have blood drawn for lab testing, you want to be sure those tests are performed by a team of expert professionals – like the ones you’ll find at Saint Agnes. Accredited by the College of American Pathologists and The Joint Commission, our Laboratory uses the latest medical equipment to provide accurate and timely testing. 

Saint Agnes Medical Center offers full-service laboratory screening and testing, with the exception of paternity tests, nonmedical drug screens, and forensic (legal) tests. In addition to the laboratory services available to you on the Medical Center campus, we also maintain a satellite laboratory at Saint Agnes Care Center - Northwest.

FAQs

Do I need a diagnosis for all laboratory testing? 
Yes, the Medical Center must have a diagnosis to process your orders. If your physician has not included a diagnosis with your orders, we will work with you to obtain the necessary information. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and ask that you please check your paperwork for a diagnosis before leaving your physician's office.

Insurance 
Your insurance may (or may not) recognize Saint Agnes Medical Center Laboratory as a plan provider of laboratory services. Prior to specimen testing, please inform a Saint Agnes Laboratory representative if your specimen is to be sent to a different laboratory due to insurance requirements. Otherwise, you may be financially responsible.
