FARAPULSE™ Pulsed Field Ablation (PFA) System

FARAPULSE™

Innovative heart rhythm treatment at Saint Agnes

We are proud to be the first hospital in the Central Valley to offer the FARAPULSE™ Pulsed Field Ablation (PFA) System, a breakthrough in treating atrial fibrillation (AFib) and other heart rhythm disorders. Using advanced pulsed field technology, this minimally invasive procedure provides precise, effective treatment by targeting and disrupting abnormal electrical pathways in the heart, all while preserving surrounding tissues.

During a traditional ablation procedure, a catheter is guided into the heart and produces either extremely hot or cold temperatures to destroy targeted areas of the heart that are causing abnormal heart rhythms like atrial fibrillation. FARAPULSE™ utilizes cardiac tissue-selective, non-thermal electric fields to ablate targeted tissues.
