Lung Screening

Lung screening program

Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer death among men and women – more than colon, breast, and prostate cancers combined. To help identify lung cancer at its earliest stages – when treatment is most successful – Saint Agnes Medical Center now offers a Lung Program designed to meet each patient’s individual needs.

From an initial low-dose CT lung screening to diagnosis and, potentially, treatment, the Lung Program’s multidisciplinary team is focused on delivering coordinated, comprehensive care to ensure the best possible outcomes and experience for its patients.

Schedule your low-dose CT lung screening

Saint Agnes offers low-dose CT lung screenings for individuals who are considered at high-risk for lung cancer. If you’re age 50 or older and are a current or former smoker (one pack per day for 20 years or two packs per day for 10 years), schedule a Lung Cancer Screening today. Performed by our team of highly skilled technicians and radiologists*, the exam is quick and painless while covered by Medicare and most insurances. Cost of screening is $149 if not covered by insurance. This service is available at both Saint Agnes' Imaging Department and the new outpatient Imaging Center.

If you're interested, please contact the Lung Screening Program at (559) 450-5864 (LUNG). We will help you obtain any required orders.
