Favorite thing about Fresno? Location is pretty awesome, close to the sierras and lakes, you can easily pull off a weekend in LA/San Diego/Bay Area/Tahoe and there is virtually no traffic. There’s also plenty of solid restaurants and breweries to explore in town.

Favorite thing about Fresno? Close to both the mountains and the beach. It has a small town feel but has all the fun things that a big town has without the sky high prices and traffic. Also the Mexican food here is the best you’ll find anywhere.
Best part about being an EM resident at Saint Agnes? Awesome co-residents, enthusiastic attendings, diverse patient population, lots of high acuity patients, and a very busy ER make for very exciting shifts. The people here are so fun to work with.

Favorite thing about Fresno? Affordable living! Being able to live on a resident salary yet own a beautiful home in California is a huge plus. Also, little to no traffic for such a large city
Best part about being an EM resident at Saint Agnes? Having a strong voice in shaping the program to be the best it can be. Perfect sized classes make for a personalized training experience and there’s never a shortage of pathologies to encounter at SAMC.
