Leadership Welcome
Saint Agnes Medical Center’s commitment to meeting the healthcare needs of Central California residents is rooted in our humble beginnings as a 75-bed bed hospital in 1929 to our current status as a 436-bed, state-of-the-art Medical Center campus. From the very beginning, Saint Agnes has been dedicated to providing the highest quality of care for our patients focused on healing body, mind and spirit.
Saint Agnes is a member of Trinity Health, the second largest multi-institutional Catholic health care delivery system in the nation. Trinity Health covers 22 states with 94 hospitals and a myriad of services covering the full continuum of healthcare.
As we continue the shift of focus from volume to value, from independence to collaboration and from episodic care to population health, we have identified a 5-year strategic plan to meet our vision of becoming THE trusted health care partner in Central California. These strategic initiatives include expansion of signature service lines in cardiovascular, oncology, general surgery, women and infants, growth of population health capabilities, continued expansion of our aligned physician network including both primary care and specialists, enhancing facilities to support programmatic and physician network goals. The implementation of a Graduate Medical Education Program is a key component representing our commitment to health care delivery in the Central Valley by providing training and education to exceptional physician candidates.
We welcome you to Saint Agnes Medical Center and the Central Valley and trust you will have a wonderful experience.
