How to Apply


Thank you for your interest in Saint Agnes Medical Center and our Graduate Medical Education programs. We welcome applications from all interested candidates.

Application materials must be submitted through ERAS (no exceptions). See details in ERAS. Interview decisions will be made after a review of your completed application. We are accepting applications through ERAS until the end of November. We will screen applicants and contact those that will be granted an interview through ERAS ONLY. The interview season is from October through the end of January.

ALL of the following items are required in ERAS before your application can be reviewed:

  • Completed ERAS application form
  • Dean's letter from your school
  • Three (3) letters of recommendation
    • A letter from one of these members of your Institution's Department of Medicine: Specialty Chair, Clerkship Director, or Program Director
    • Two (2) letters from other Departmental faculty members
  • A personal statement
  • Medical school transcript
  • COMLEX or USMLE Transcript
  • NRMP number

Applicant Status Updates

The Graduate Medical Education programs will NOT be giving status updates by phone, email, or walk-ins. We will only be contacting applicants by ERAS who we invite for an interview. (NO EXCEPTIONS).

Special Requirements

If you are currently in a residency training program, a letter is required from your program director. All International Medical Graduate applicants must send a status letter from the Medical Board of California.
