Fun fact: I did about five cross country round trips from California to Pennsylvania during Medical School with my dog before coming back to California for my residency.
Favorite thing about Fresno: The location is great; there's a low cost of living and Fresno has everything you would need in terms of shopping. The city is still close enough to San Francisco, Los Angeles, Yosemite or the beach if you need to get away on a day off!
Best part about being an EM resident at Saint Agnes: The residency faculty is phenomenal—they care about ensuring we finish as competent Emergency Medicine-trained physicians and work to keep us accountable on our projects, our research and while we're on shift. Since the day I interviewed here, I knew the faculty here cared about who they would train and wanted to build a strong resident-focused culture here at Saint Agnes.
