Sports Medicine Fellowship

Welcome to Saint Agnes Medical Center's Sports Medicine Fellowship Program.

We are a community-based Sports Medicine Fellowship located in Fresno, California (population 544,510). Fresno and its surrounding areas are home to many rural and underserved communities with a diverse population. Our program aims to produce Sports Medicine physicians who will advocate for the patients they will be caring for within the communities they serve. Graduates will be competent in providing comprehensive sports medicine care. We will start our inaugural class of 1 fellow in July 2023. Our 1-year fellowship program contains rotations in sports medicine, orthopedics, pain management, radiology, trauma and electives.

Fresno is known as the agricultural capital of the world. There are numerous farmers markets throughout the year. Our city offers an affordable cost of living with excellent school districts. We are located near Yosemite and King Canyon National Parks as well as easily accessible hiking trails and only around 2 hours from the coast. Major cities within our State are about a 2 to 3 hours’ drive from Fresno. We have a full-service airport with flights into many of the major hubs in California. We are truly located in an ideal location that is in close proximity to whatever adventure you want to pursue.
