We appreciate your interest in the Saint Agnes Medical Center Internal Medicine Residency Program. Prospective applicants must submit their applications through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). The entirety of our available positions will be allocated via the National Residency Matching Program (NRMP), necessitating applicants' involvement in the matching process.

For further details regarding ERAS, applicants are encouraged to reach out to their respective medical institutions or visit the ERAS website. Application Deadline: November 30, 2023.

Applicant Status Updates

The program will not give application status updates by phone, email, or walk-ins. We will only be contacting applicants by ERAS

Special Requirements

ALL of the following items are required in ERAS before your application can be reviewed:

  • A fully completed ERAS application
  • The dean's letter from your medical school
  • A minimum of three letters of recommendation
  • Your personal statement
  • Official transcripts from your medical school
  • Transcripts of your COMLEX and/or USMLE Transcript

Should you have been or are presently engaged in a residency training program, it is necessary to provide a letter from your program director.

International Medical Graduates are welcomed, and we exclusively support the J1 visa sponsorship.

All International Medical Graduate applicants must submit a status letter from the Medical Board of California.

Instead of setting specific cut-off scores, we evaluate each individual's complete application comprehensively.

While we do not mandate it, graduation within the past six years is preferable.

Having experience in clinical settings within the US is also looked upon favorably.

Although ECFMG certification isn't compulsory during the interview phase, it must be secured prior to the commencement of the Residency program.
